Remove Duplicate Paint Bucket From App Page #1701

The paint bucket to change the color of a 'Category' is rightly already present in Obtainium's settings page. Perhaps it's just me but the app page is no place for that.

However, the paint bucket should still be displayed on the app page. It can be removed in the settings if absolutely necessary.

However? What? I don't know what that is supposed to mean but there is no logic in littering every single app page with out of place, generalized category settings that are better off in a single place.

littering every single app page with out of place

As you may have seen, I responded positively (thumbs up) to your other suggestion/issue of only displaying the categories in the app pages that belong to the respective app. However, you should still be able to correct the color of these categories in the app pages. I almost always do this there and not on the settings page and it would disrupt my (and I guess not only my) workflow considerably.

I guess. I just find having that bucket on every single app page to be an eyesore to be honest. Same with the '-' and '+' combo as it makes every page look busier than it really needs to be. Having all of that tucked in 3-dot menu or something, or focused in one place in Obtanium's settings is much cleaner.

These are just personal sensitivities that everyone sees differently. How about the possibility of hiding the display of "these eyesores" for yourself?

need color picker on long tap on group and hide paint bucket

An option to turn it off would be just fantastic. Always in favor of toggles.
