Cannot update an app (conflict: <package_name>) #841

Wanted to update Otraku to the latest version App

but some new error appeares when trying to actually update the app, after fetching the apk (not seen before whatsoever) Error

They confirmed me the package name has not changed.

OS: A13 LOS Obtainuim: 0.14.4 Phone: OnePlus 5T

I think this is not the fault of Obtainium, the app you're trying to install have a different signature from the one installed on your phone, you need to uninstall the old one first, try it and then close the issue if it works.

Maybe you had the app from a different source the first time you installed it, or maybe the developer lost the first signing key, many things can cause this, and the solution is very easy as I mentioned.

Edit: I can confirm it is on the developer side not Obtainium's, because I installed the version 1.2.4+1 from GitHub and tried to update it also from GitHub and the phone wouldn't let me install it (I did not use Obtainium), so you should contact the main developer of the app to see what happened on his end.
