- stand alone service eg. twilio, DISCOVERteam input numbers (they already have access)
- modal on the app collecting phone number: but this would be a duplication of data, since the DISCOVERteam already have it
Questions:
- there needs to be a place where the user can opt out: should this be on the app, or on the message?
- if in the app, we will need to collect numbers via the app
- if not, could use built in unsubscribe service for twilio? investigate this
- will the service be used for more than the app? will they send different communications using this service, or only DISCOVERbot things?
- at what point do users opt in to receiving these notifications?
Users should receive a notification/reminder message once a week - investigate how to set this up for the DISCOVER team to manage.
