Summary

9 months ago I put in a bug report for the Nissan Silvia S15. Still no change. Also adding a suggestion.

You cannot drop the ride height down as low as it should be, the final option for suspension "Competition suspension" is still identical to the "Stock" suspension option, meaning you have no choice but to install "Sport Suspension", which doesn't lower the car as much as it should, causing stability issues, as well as a HUGE gap between the tire and wheel arch.

The rear bumper option that matches the wide body kit has also vanished.

So why have I put this in suggestions?

Give the car an ENTIRE overhaul.

Not only does this vehicle suffer from the suspension bug, it is actually a meme within the racing community. (I am a member of the street racing group TKY)

Such an iconic car deserves better. Poor acceleration/torque means the thing bogs down on hills compared to other vehicles in its class. On straight lines it stands no chance against other comparable vehicles or other S series models (180sx/240sx - of which are amazing in comparison), with every other "Japanese import tuner" being miles better than the S15 in terms of acceleration and top speed. And its not even close.

You can have multiple people in a 4 door, such as the Lexus IS300, or any of the Subaru's/ EVO's, and they still perform better than the S15. You could have multiple people in a FWD hatchback/compact, such as the Nissan Sunny/Pulsar or Honda Civic models, and they still perform better than a RWD sports coupe 2 door car that has 250bhp stock, let alone upgraded.

It suffers from some of the worst "bubbles" out of any car I have driven, even when stationary, when you pull the thing up to the side of another car, there will be a 60cm gap between the car and the other car, and it still thinks you are metal on metal.

Only a few days ago, we decided to race using "low tier vehicles only", guess what everyone decided was the best car to use for this? Silvia S15.

I will reiterate, such an iconic car in the street racing community really deserves a lot more love. A lot of people consider this their favorite vehicle, and its heart breaking knowing how bad this car actually is, especially for a 2 door sports car.

Yes, some cars should be better than others.... but with basically EVERY car of similar size, engine, being so much better than this, it really doesn't make a lot of sense how bad the car actually is, and really could do with being looked at.

I ask you please consider taking a look at this vehicle. I don't want it to be the "best" or anything, just to not be the worst possible car you can drive within its class, even a slight improvement would go along way.

Much love car dev team, from Baboon and entire TKY.

Original issue I submitted.

Reason

Because the car sucks. Giving this car some love and slightly adjusting the problems stated above would go along way towards making this car somewhat "usable" for different situations, giving members of the community another option for racing, driving/cruising, or any other driving activity they wish to partake in.

Keep in mind that there is 1 singular vehicle dev, can't push out changes like triple A game companies. I've closed your old issue, but please avoid creating the same issue twice

Sorry Laura!

This issue is more so with the entire vehicle than just the original suspension issue I highlighted, decided to add the original issue in as well, I probably could have gone back and edited my original issue and added the overhaul suggestion, so that’s my bad! <3
