Although a good idea. We have to remember that we are still a public server and having this feature stops people with low playtime just abusing it when involved in a roleplay situation (that they get downed in).
I also like the 2nd idea of the revert feature, but I am really not sure if that is even possible as how would you revert a small change in the database specifically for one individual? Unless there is some crazy way of doing it, I don't think this is possible.

Assurance: Yes
Summary: Removal or changes to the losing items when respawning feature.
Reason: I understand that the feature is in the server to prevent people from abusing the respawn system but in most cases it does more harm than good. Unfortunately, people's games crashing whilst down is quite a common occurance especially when the server's player slot is increased and there are more people in high populated areas like pillbox. There has been countless times where my character has been down, my game has crashed and when I get back into the server, I lose valueble items when I shouldn't have. At the end of the day it's not the biggest issue but I feel like changes to the system would be healthy for the server. One suggestion would be a revert feature for staff with the position Admin+. If a person can prove that their games crashed or they lost connection to the server whilst down and their items were lost, staff should be able to revert the item loss and the items would be added to the persons inventory. An alternative would be the server picking up that there was a game crash or a disconnection and then disabling the feature.
