Extended Hunting System #2065

Summary: Write a summary of what your suggestion is about. My suggestion is to extend the depth of hunting items & animals you can hunt.

Lets start with animals you should be able to hunt. I'll begin this by stating that some animals will be left of this list due to abuse shown by the community but a lot will be added onto what we currently have as I believe that some animals should be left up to RP in order to 'not hunt'.

Boar - Stay the same Mountain Lion - Stay the same Deer - Stay the same Chicken Hawk (a_c_chickenhawk) - Small Game Meat & Feathers Cormorant (a_c_cormorant) - Small Game Meat & Feathers Coyote (a_c_coyote) - Meat & Leather Scraps Crow (a_c_crow) - Small Game Meat & Feathers Hen (a_c_hen) - Small Game Meat & Feathers Rabbit (a_c_rabbit_01) - Small Game Meat & Leather Scraps Rat (a_c_rat) - Small Game Meat Seagull (a_c_seagull) - Small Game Meat & Feathers

Small Game Meat - Could be used in the future for recipes involving white meat (the icon could be of raw chicken) and could be sold for $30-50. Feathers - Could be used in the future for crafting but for now this would be an item that only exists to sell. It'd be sold for $10-15 a pop at the hunting lodge. Leather Scraps - Could be used in the future for crafting but would also be sold at the hunting lodge for $25-$40

I'd also like to propose the addition of Road Kill Meat. This would be harvested from ANY animal in the above list if they were hit by a vehicle. This could be used in the future for cooking of terrible yet amazing food such as Road Kill Burritos. It'd sell at the hunting lodge for $1-5.

To make the hunting more in depth it could be nice to see the addition of something like the following:

Deer Whistle - This would make a Deer call sound or something and you'd have to listen to hear one back. If you do, then you know one is close and could follow the direction that it came from. Masking Scents - This could be used and last anywhere between 5-15min and would mask your scent to either a specific animal or all animals. This would mean that you can get closer to animals before they get scared and run away and Moutain Lions would not be agressive with you unless you get really close or it wares off.

Reason: Why would your suggestion be a good change to the framework?

The script already is extremely fun, the main good change that my suggestion would bring is allowing people to get more in depth with their RP and feel more immersed. It would also bring forward more RP for BCSO/Police to make sure that people aren't hunting the incorrect animals or in the wrong areas.

Additionally, the Game Meat could be sold at the Cluckin' Bell factory up in Paleto.

Would having some sort of hunting bait to attract animals near by be a good addition as well? Either by purchasing bait from the hunting store, or crafting using existing fresh meat collected from hunting

in addition to this with fishing coming SoonTM being able to use the "feathers" to make different types of lurers for fly fishing.
