I like the idea, however Trash Cans may be hard to do as "Prison Trash Cans" would need to be different props to the rest of the trash cans around the map as I believe Loot Tables are tied to props (Twoot can verify if this is the case)

Could also just be drops from cleaning as well
Would also need to implement something to where these drops, or whatever they will be, specifically items for escape, do not generate when there isn't X amount of DOC on duty to counter. As well as if there is DOC on duty, X amount of cops would also need to be on duty in order to assist DOC with the escapees.
Instead of finding a whole knife, maybe find items that could be made into a "shank" - maybe in a trash can or location you can get yourself a PVC Pipe, or an expired card, and then have a specific spot in prison where you can sharpen the item and it'll turn into a shank, which can be used as a knife but isn't as deadly due to its nature
I was thinking one of the things i would like to see if possible is DOC officers been able to fly out from break room, on multiple ocasions when i log in to my DOC character and it spawns on yard if theres prisioners they just attack you straight away and by the time when you kinda logged in and able to contol situation its very easy to go down with all your equipment
Just thinking that having an area where DOC can fly in and out like in break room would avoid that and means that we can start our shift in safe space
I've made the prison trash cans searchable now and added a switchblade as one of the things that can be found in dumpsters

Enhanced Prison Experience With DOC slowly building, I believe that it's time to add some quality of life things to prison. This would require simple mapping/adjustments of a "pool" of items.
Spoon Escape

Above is ways to do the "main exit" being where vehicles can enter inside the actual prison. The other places would be in different spots, but ultimately lead to the outer ring. Below are some example spots that are within the "inner ring" and alternatives to the "main exit" so DOC has a harder time of "camping" this spot as it's a mechanic. After either the main exit, side exit, or medical center side is used, it ultimately takes the player to the outer rings where they would do the steps I linked after the main exit.
After they get outside the outer ring, (out of the prison entirely), PD/DOC would get an alarm saying there has been a prison escape and people would respond. DOC would have priority as opposed to PD but still room for both.
Reworked Cleaning/Prison Jobs
DOC
One of the main changes I'd want for DOC is the ability to be able to take time off, but no more than 15%. So the command would work as such
/Time_decrease (PlayerID) (Percentage from 1-15). If they try to use it on the same player, they will get notified "This player has already had time decreased!"
Time_extend (PlayerID) (Percentage from 1-15) Which will extend their time if they have bad behavior. If they try to use it on the same player, they will get notified "This player already has had time extended!" Reason: Why would your suggestion be a good change to the framework?
This would add more RP for DOC and Criminals who go to jail, instead of Criminals being forced to Press E to clean up spots and DOC just speaking with them.
This would be "quality of life" in my opinion and would allow room for further development
Make Prison not as "boring" for people to either just F8 quit or grind to get out
Allows room for more DOC/PD growth as people may be breaking out or saving contraband up. If syringes are added, could be a good way to implement heroine or morphine into the gang community. In order to get these you must be broken out, giving people an incentive to do those activities.
