Treatment Options to improve EMS/Patient Interactions #2510

Assurance: Have you read through the rules from the README.md file in the root folder of this GitHub repository? Yes, I have.

Summary: Write a summary of what your suggestion is about. When responding to calls, and finding downed people on scenes, EMS should have an option - similar to Doctor Duty - to treat injuries, before transporting the patient to the hospital.

Instead of just using /inspect and then getting lost in several /me before placing the player in the ambulance and bringing them to the hospital, which usually ends up in complaining, and comments like "Can I just have a booster", EMS could have to follow three (3) simple, slightly more interactive steps to treat patient's injuries:

They still need to do /inspect to locate the injury, but then similar to doctor duties, they can also interact with it, by for example being able to use [E] to "clean injury" - followed by [E] "treat injury" - followed by [E] "bandages injury" - which could remove the recently added visual effects of downed individuals to symbolise their general status has improved. The emotes for the [E] interactions would be the same as the inspect one, or simply "/e medic2".

The interaction could be improved even more, if the EMS employee would have to go to their ambulance to pick up the previously mentioned bandages for the last step, which could force the "/e medbag" emote.

The patient then still needs to be transported to the hospital obviously to fully heal the individual.

Reason: Why would your suggestion be a good change to the framework? EMS and Patient interactions have been very difficult recently. Most people try to avoid the RP as a whole, and some EMS also do not know what to do, and get lost in several /me. The suggested addition would not only give some guidance to EMS employees and an easier narrative, but would also possibly make the roleplay for downed individuals more enjoyable, which hopefully encourages them to call EMS, and get at least slightly involved in the roleplay, rather than barely tolerating it.

Love it!

I must admit it often becomes mundane to type out the same few things for most scenes, using /me. I honestly would love to see this change, as it would allow us to talk to the patients more, allowing us to explain in more detail what we're doing, or to act out certain actions using words. Basically improving the interaction overall.

Really love that we would be able to remove the blur effect when downed, giving an additional perk to calling ems.

In order to make it understandable nonetheless what it is that we do on scene: I think it'd be great if executing the specific treatments goes along with an automated, simplified /me that is generated upon treatment. That way it is clear what we do on the basics, and we have the freedom to add whatever we want through RP.
