Suggestion - More criminal activities #2824

Assurance

I have read the README.md

Summary

I have 2 versions of this so I will write both but the reasons will be pretty much the same. (Just using guns for the example)

Version 1 - Whitelisted Free for all A system similar to boosting, but the vehicle has some "goodies" in the trunk and upon delivery those goodies become available. Imagine if each whitelisted gang member gets a text with some coords (GPS needed) or easier a marker on map. They are all allowed to go get this vehicle / fight over it etc. The group who get it to the delivery then get to open the vehicle to see what goodies were given (Cocaine/Weed/Acid/Guns)

Version 2 - Whitelisted Specific Gangs This is slightly more focused and less of a gang vs gang.

Using examples here Nightshade run gun computer, all the Nightshade rostered members get a text to location, they boost the vehcicle it acts the same way as boosting with pd alerts etc, on completing the vehicle would have a bunch of guns (1 handers/2 handers)

This could apply to each gang and their process

Reason

The reasoning for this is as follows:

Version 1 - Another activity for gangs to have some fun competing against each other but with the fun of not knowing what they win at the end of it etc. The RP from this could be a group get a large selection of guns, do they sell them to gun suppliers to resell on? Do they decide to keep them for themselves? Do they decide to sell them to others and cause conflict with current gun suppliers etc

Version 2 - This is a nice way of gaining a larger stock in shorter time but for a larger risk with interaction of PD etc If every whitelist group was to purchase "guns" from the current gang supplier it would take that gang far too much time each day to run the computer for one at a time and this is a nice way of getting some bumps in stock to RP with rest of the city

"Whitelisted Activities" are decided by the community and not by the framework. Its only against the rules for certain communities on what activity you can do.

AaronSmithCoding commented 1 year ago

@TacticalTyl3r the system itself is separate to the whitelist part. split the suggestion in that case make it an event for everyone...then some communities could decide to whitelist it to certain groups etc?

How would you know who is a "whitelisted gang member" so you can send them the text. Nothing in the framework differentiates gang members from legal people from crims, etc. "Whitelisting" is a community thing not a dev thing

Ngl kinda just seems like chop + cargo mixed together.

Sorry for slow reply,

Ahh ok so in that case it could just be similar to the chop radio/dark chat you get a ping when an activity is happening..anyone could do it but obvs whitelist gangs could rock up 6 deep

@ImArteria I understand yeah its similar but like say you take the coke field for example...if you tried to make a deal with every whitelist group in city for some coke you either are dealing a couple bricks each or cant supply everyone within a week

1 coke run cooldown is between 10-15 mins (assuming no fails) the average coke run is around 3-4 mins so that's 1 brick every ~20 mins potentially 4-6 bricks an hour

Example 8 whitelisted groups interested in buying each week and you supply 20 to each group 160 bricks * 20 mins = ~53 hours = roughly 7-8 hours every day you would have to constantly run the airfield to make enough stock just for those. Its worth noting some groups are happy to buy 30-40 each but as you can see it means investing an unreal amount of time per week.

I just thought the math might be similar for other processes and so some activity where you could earn a small bulk amount of coke/weapons/oxy etc it would be helpful
