Assurance

I have read the README.md

Summary

We have been waiting for so long to get an airport facility/office for the Aviation Department, and now its here. We are very glad to have a place for our department and hope this is only the beginning.

Introduction

The primary objective of this system is to make a way for the pilot to earn some money through their aviation license. This system is very similar to the Bus Driver job and cocaine run.

Pilots will be able to take a certain amount of task each day and earn some cash based on what types of license they are holding.

Initially, I am going with a four types of task idea. The pilots will need to have one or multiple license among the Heli, HWH, Fixed Wing, and HW to take the task/job.

Task Collection Area

The notice board at the main hanger in LSIA seems to be a good place for taking the task.

Task Type

There will be four types of tasks, one for each license. If a pilot has multiple license among the HWH, Fixed Wing, and HW, they will get a random task. But if the pilot has one license, they will repedetly get the same task.

Heli The task with the helicopter is very similar to the bus stoppage. The pilot will take the task, take out an heli and go to a marked helipad. They needs to stop the engine for couple of moment and then fly to another helipad. At the end, they will return to airport and finish their task.

The total task duration should be around 7 to 10 minutes.

HWH After taking the task, pilot will take out a HWH and fly to any of the following location to pick up goods. Later, they will go to Cayo Perico to drop the goods. After that, pilot will return to LSIA and finish the task.

It takes around 7 minutes to go to a pick up point, drop to cayo perico, and return to LSIA.

Fixed Wing The task with the fixed wing is exactly the same to the cocaine run. The plane used for this task will be Dodo. Pilot will fly from LSIA and pickup a box from the sea and drop to any of the following LSIA stoppage point.

It takes around 6:30 to 7 minutes to go near the cocaine drop location and return to LSIA.

HW The pilots will use the HW jets for this task. After taking the task, they will go to a boarding tunnel and wait for passanger. This is also similar to the Bus stoppage. After waiting for some moment, they will fly to Cayo Perico.

They will land they and wait for some moment, and later return to LSIA to finish the task. It also takes around 7 minutes to finish the task.

Task Duration

Task with the HWH, Fixed Wing, and HW needs around 7 minutes to complete if you are a good pilot. Naturally, not everyone has the same flying skill. In addition, to take a task, go to the helipad/hanger to takeout the heli/plane and start the task requires some additional time.

If I calculate everything, it will take around 10 minutes to complete a task successfully.

Payout

As its a license and people are paying for it, I would want an average payout which is in between hunting and mining.

There will be a daily task limit. I am guessing 6 tasks will be pretty good and take around 1 hour to complete.

If I calculate the time and 18k to 20k should be good. Which means, after completing each task (assuming every task requires 10 minute), the pilot will receive $3,000.

Bonus

Many jobs now has a bonus system. The bonus will count when the Pilot has multiple licenses among the mentioned four.

1 License: $0 bonus 2 License: $100 bonus 3 License: $200 bonus 4 License: $300 bonus

It means a pilot can get a maximum of $1,800 from bonus. It will encourage the pilots to acquire more licenses.

Reason

This addition will help the Los Santos Aviation a lot and keep the department more lively. Civilans will get attracted to this license. More and more people will join the department. These tasks will give the pilots to do something and earn some money.

Besides the task, it can also serve RP purpose like the Bus driver job. There will be frequent flight to different helipad location. But most importantly, from city to Cayo Perico with the HW jets. It will serve as a regular transportation to various location.

A financial addition is much needed in the Los Santos Aviation to keep people attached with the department. I hope this addition will not only bring happiness to the existing pilots but also attract many civilians to join the LSA.

perfect it will be new interesting job then

I quite like this idea of the tasks, additionally the fact that it will create more common flights between some helipads (such as to Paleto or Cayo) but also directly to Cayo Perico with the planes for people that can not get aviation licenses (crims) but still need it for their daily, creating some more RP around the Airport.

Obviously, the payout should be adjusted for the economy, but I think it would be another nice source of income as well as traffic for Aviation licenses, Aviation radio and more visits to LSIA which in turn means a lot more RP interactions.

I'm not too sure about this. There is only very few pilots who actually do it as their main job (if any). Current income sources for pilots already exist in you offering flights or training people to get their license. Idk if we'd need a whole pilot job for the 2-3 people who would actually be a full-time pilot

Considering I have all licenses and have had my helicopter one for over a year, I think I've seen two or three people try to actually provide flights as a business but they didn't stick around. Since those that already have the license(s) likely won't have others fly them and then pay for it, crims will just steal something to use or find other ways and then the remaining civilians in low number maybe will go for a flight here or then when they need it to go to cayo or just ask a friend who has a license.

There's not much demand for pilots offering flights as it is right now, which eliminates one income source. The second mentioned requires them to be a CFI which requires the license holder to have all licenses (Helicopter, Heavyweight Helicopter, Fixed Wing, Heavyweight Fixed Wing and Performance) which is also quite the investment, takes training and can take a while for a singular pilot to get them all. Which is good, but then they also just end up with the other CFIs waiting for students and the occasional every other day training.

I would 100% do those tasks if they were set up like the dailies, even if they are lower amount in reward, just to create more regular aviation traffic that civilians and crims can rely on to fly to other helipads or to Cayo. Which I'm sure others would also join in on, so you'd have a couple dozen people daily flying helicopters and planes that the rest of the city can utilize, get motivated to get their own licenses and maybe also become CFIs, not to mention the RP that it would create for people and Aviation to keep track of the frequency, have regular pilots maybe do schedules/planned flights, meet others at LSIA waiting for a helicopter/plane to go to Cayo etc.

@coalaura

I would prefer the task bound to license rather than the job. Because most of the pilots hold license. In main server there might be some people with the actual job, but the number is very low to zero in sub division.

I assume this task can coexist beside our current job script as its pretty similar to cocaine run.

If its possible to add the task in license, I am sure we will see a lot of activities and RP around Aviation.
