Suggestion - Shared LSUV Garage

Summary

in order for the business to work appropriately it needs a shared garage that the owner is able to place personal vehicles into that is accessible by the employees to be placed on the show room floor. The system could potentially work utilizing the married system where it is tied to the LSUV job so the cars could be given to the business and then the employees would have access to them as to not be abused

This would let the employee be able to pull out the cars and let the customer look at and test drive and then if they would like to purchase they would “fill out paperwork and wait for it to be processed” (until the owner could fly in and sell) it would be ideal if it was set up like PDM where we could pull out cars to a specific bay and be priced by the owner or managers

Reason

Investing in making LSUV work could benefit all legacy servers and create multiple interactions among many jobs in the city as well as have an option for newer people in the city be able to get cars at a cheaper price.

This could open the possibility for LSUV to look into offering a rental vehicle program were we could loan out cars that the customer would sign and agreement and be held responsible for damage or any action that the vehicle is involved in. This rental idea would be great to involve multiple parties such as PD to be on the look out for any stolen cars ,the mechanic tow truck drivers or a possible repo business that this could create and the Doj for any charges that could be held against the person that would rent out the vehicle.

I would like to back up this idea, by having LSUV have a proper garage system that can be utilized between the business owner, the business and the employees. As stated above it could allow the Business owner to "share" specific vehicles or their entire garage with the business to show what can be sold, and then Employees can pull out those cars at LSUV for test-drives and marketing when said business owner is not around.

Essentially: Business Owner (shares Garage) -> LSUV <- Employees (Can take out cars to show off) After that, interested people would only have to wait for the Owner to process the Sale while all Employees can still manage the business and for RP to continue. Without the Business Owner needing to be around 24/7.

I will also back up that this could open up various RP avenues internally for the business to set up paperwork such as liability waivers, employee operations, sale documents etc. which can then lead to State, DOJ and PD interactions to make it follow the law, as well as Tow RP with repossessing cars and such.

On a personal note, this had been discussed because an alternative was brought up to have it simply be done through the marriage garage system between two people, but the RP around that specific situation is more complicated and due to a couple of people already trying to just marry for the share garage system. Having to make LSUV work through the marriage share garage system would push a lot more people to try and do the same, which I will be honest makes me super uncomfortable. Once people were to find out I can already hear them ask "Why can they but I can not", but a proper LSUV garage system could circumvent that.

This has been an issue since Dusty Carr has owned luxury autos. This is for the longevity of the business and interactions in the city.

This is done now. There are now 2 new buttons at the garage: "Shared Garage" and "Store In Shared". Shared Garage lists all vehicles that were stored in this shared garage, "My Vehicles" and "Other Vehicles" will still act normal (kinda like its 2 garages). If you "Store In Shared" it will be available to anyone able to see the garage. If you "Store Vehicle" it will go back to the vehicle owners garage.

The Boss/Manager can withdraw vehicles from their garage ("My Vehicles") and then the boss/manager or any employee can "Store In Shared" and next time they will be able to withdraw it from "Shared Garage". To make it a bit easier to work with i colored the buttons differently.

oh and while a vehicle is in a shared garage it can only be withdrawn from that garage, unless retrieved
