Bumps @nomicfoundation/hardhat-chai-matchers from 1.0.6 to 2.0.7.

Release notes

Sourced from @nomicfoundation/hardhat-chai-matchers's releases.

@nomicfoundation/hardhat-chai-matchers@2.0.7

This release accepts predicate functions in the changeEtherBalance, changeEthersBalances, changeTokenBalance and changeTokenBalances matchers (thanks @SevenSwen and @k06a!)

💡 The Nomic Foundation is hiring! Check our open positions.

@nomicfoundation/hardhat-chai-matchers@2.0.6

This release improves the error messages of the .withArgs matcher (thanks @RenanSouza2!)

@nomicfoundation/hardhat-chai-matchers@2.0.5

This version:

  • Adds support for Typed objects (thanks @RenanSouza2!)
  • Improves how .revertedWithCustomError handles wrong number of arguments (thanks @RenanSouza2!)

@nomicfoundation/hardhat-chai-matchers@2.0.4

This release improves the loading performance of the plugin

@nomicfoundation/hardhat-chai-matchers@2.0.3

This release adds support for Addressable objects in .withArgs and .equals (thanks @Amxx!)

@nomicfoundation/hardhat-chai-matchers@2.0.2

This release forbids our async matchers from being chained. This means that you can't do something like:

await expect(contract.f())
  .to.changeEtherBalance(...)
  .and.to.changeTokenBalance(...)

This never worked properly, leading to potential false positives in tests. Now this pattern will throw an error to make it clear that it's not supported.

If some of your tests start throwing because of this, the way to do the same thing without chaining is:

const tx = contract.f();

await expect(tx).to.changeEtherBalance(...);
await expect(tx).to.changeTokenBalance(...);

@nomicfoundation/hardhat-chai-matchers@2.0.1

This version removes a dependency from the package that was no longer necessary.

@nomicfoundation/hardhat-chai-matchers@2.0.0

This new major version of Hardhat Chai Matchers works with the new version of our hardhat-ethers plugin. If you are going to use ethers v6, this is the version that you have to install. If you are still using ethers v5, then you should keep using version 1.x of this plugin.

As part of that, we dropped support for ethers v5's BigNumbers in this version. No other breaking changes were introduced to the API.

OK, I won't notify you again about this release, but will get in touch when a new version is available. If you'd rather skip all updates until the next major or minor version, let me know by commenting @dependabot ignore this major version or @dependabot ignore this minor version. You can also ignore all major, minor, or patch releases for a dependency by adding an ignore condition with the desired update_types to your config file.

If you change your mind, just re-open this PR and I'll resolve any conflicts on it.
