Useful for correcting documents or otherwise extracting data out of documents.

This PR should add some tests before we merge. We're prepared for a release of 0.4.0 so this PR will wait for the next release.

I'm finding this feature less compelling a need these days. I'm going to close this for now but will keep the branch around.
