Energy should be a liquid and have the same properties as lava. It spawns, when a ore block in the dimension gets destroyed. To make mining it easier, there could be a crystal, that absorbs it, when you right click the liquid and releases it in some kind of machine, this machine could maybe also used to save the energy liquid in those crystals, so that you have a battery.
To make finding it easier, there should be a scanner of somekind, it should scan in the direction you click and tell you the amount of ore blocks in this direction in 4 different grades: Very low, low, high and very high.
I would like to have the texture with a light blue look, the animation should look really active, this might be achieved by a fast animation cycle.
