Try instead of mysql as the driver use default

Its working now, it was missing some libs to run dbi.mysql.ext.so ib32z1 zlib.i386 libpthread libz1

I was gonna suggest reinstalling mysql last, but you already did it. At least it's working now :D

Problem in question:

 [SM] Unable to load extension "dbi.mysql.ext": libz.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
 [SM] Exception reported: [Influx] Unable to establish connection to MySQL database! (Error: Driver "mysql" not found)

This problem isn't caused by the plugin itself, MySQL extension fails. @arthurlauck's comment should help in that case.

If you get a different error, make sure your db info is typed correctly. If that fails, make a new issue.
