11 years ago Your solution on hiding / showing the left menu is working fine. Only thing, I don't like a lot the arrow icon and arrow position you have set.
I suggest, in order not to consume useful workspace, to place in the very header one link named "Hide menu": see green arrow as idea of the position to set.
Clicking on it do exactly you have implemented, so hiding / showing left menu.
On hiding rename the link to "Show menu" so for user all is clear.
It should be nice to have on left menu one very small button that clicked will hide / show the left menu.
