(also see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1155996) Now we can use resource://gre/modules/PrivateBrowsingUtils.jsm only for browser windows (and not for content windows). And for Private Tab support we should use privateTab.isTabPrivate(), see https://github.com/Infocatcher/Private_Tab/issues/208 (fixed version not yet released).
