Dear Bert,
The WG was aware of this risk so the author of both the DPV and GConsent was contacted and asked about the roadmap of each ontology. The author (Harshvardhan J. Pandit) reassured us that the ontologies are still under construction and will be finalised. He aims for 2022 to finish the DPV. On the side of GConsent the version is basically close to a version 1.0, but only some tweaking needs to be done to have it aligned with the ISO/IEC 27560 Consent Record too.
The detail and caution in which the author is looking at his ontologies and the fact that both are made by the Trinity College of Dublin make us believe that we can trust on an final version to be published in time. Prove of the continuous optimizations that are being made to these ontologies are is the latest update of the DPV to version 0.7 on 25 May.
In the worst case scenario in which a final version will never be delivered, is it possible to still use these draft versions? As the quality of these versions are already very high and thus good enough to reach our purpose.
Best Regards, Michael
Dear WG,
The URIs such as https://w3id.org/GConsent#Consent are part of a draft ontology.
This forms a risk in maintenance (both semantic as persistence of the URI). The WG should consider a strategy when these are not anymore supported.

Bert
