Some points.

Would it not be preferable to us https:// everywhere you have http://? It is not actually a requirement, but it is strongly recommended for auth purposes.
If we assume close-to-zero knowledge of setting up websites, it might be better to just call the folder “auth” and not /auth/.

I agree with CONTRIBUTING.md about the licensing :)
