RSS and Atom feeds currently have no function. #116

The links to RSS and Atom feeds currently have no function, the feeds are not presenting any news or articles, just a title.

Additionally, clicking them shows an empty page on the browser.

I didn't even know we had them! Just remove the links to them?

dellagustin commented 4 years ago

That is possibly the easiest course of action. Unless we plan releasing news or actually start writting blog posts (currently we just have pages, but no blog), then the feeds don't make much sense.

If we remove the links, I think we should also remove any related files (assets/xslt, pages/pages-root-folder/atom.xml), to avoid unnecessary content on the repo (I am already thinking about creating an issue only for a clean up, this will help in case we want to move to other page generators, #94 )

At some point, we plan to have blog-like contents but we did not work on that yet (other then the one press release for incorporation).

imho: We should drop the RSS feed link because it might lead to frustration with users who are expecting regular news contents in the feed.

I would very much appreciate blog posts as well a well working RSS feed (that btw can be hooked up to the usual social media sites as a source using tools such as recurpost etc.) Removing it for the time being is likely ok. Adding a follow-up issue around the blog.
