creating dump of existing models #84

we have no back-up solution so far for the models in the database. what could we do to change this in short term and what would be a good long term solution. the data generated so far has a value - even if the quality is still pretty low...

Do you want to backup the entire DB? Easy... Backup [model] parts of the DB and properly restore these might be a bit tricky. But I think in general it should be possible to do partial dumps easily, e.g. using a custom ruby script.

Full automatic back-up for the entire DB and the rest of the playground would be great. So far I've done recent back-ups for the following DBs: "population" "deutsche_bahn" "electric_mobility" "geodata" "modalyzer" "population" "shared_mobility" "surveyed_mobility" "ril" (last one is now deleted). Using pg_dump and our gisdata storage (/_BACKUP_PLAYGROUND/20171011).

Ansonsten bitte reopen.
