Try different mapping techniques as in:

  1. Hybrid Sampling Bayesian Occupancy Filter.
  2. Use mean and variance instead of velocity histogram.

Rakesh,.....lets meet asap to discuss the math part of the paper, a little discussion will make the whole concept clear.....so that I can start the code.....lets deadline this particle filter implementation to 19/12/15
