[BUG] Masking is broken on some blending modes #371

Describe the bug

I try to mask a shadow layer onto another layer and it doesn't mask.

Reproduction

  1. I take a shadow layer, it is set to multiply.
  2. I drag the mask source layer into the box, and nothing happens. The layer is in the box, but the layers are not masking.
  3. It's not just multiply layers. It's pretty much everything except Normal and Clip to Lower.

I'm planning to make a smaller 0.8.x release soonish, I'll look into it
