Merge MavLink branch back into trunk #47

Step 1: (Pete)
   Update MavLink branch to include all the latest trunk changes.
   Then reassign to ben.

Step 2: (Ben)
   Review, and then merge the MavLink branch into trunk, and test.

Mavlink Protocol OK. Qgroundcontrol letting things down
V Poor and unusable builds (broken) in Windows. Binary downloads
Of Qgroundcontrol not working on my platform win 7 64 bit. QT Platform
Now has strategic support and development issues.
QT is GPL but developers paid by Nokia (QT owned by Nokia).
Nokia strategically partnered with Microsoft mobile platform.
Nokia no longer funding QT. No new versions of Qgroundcontol in last few months.
Also really only useful with UDB4 Ram size. So on hold.

foundations of MAVLink in trunk. Limited functionality so far.
