Smooth out release process and directions

Having just gone through the release process we updated the directions to clarify a number of points, including:

• Pushing changes
• Run tests just before release
• Detailed GitHub Release notes
• Added a rake task to print homebrew information
• Updated homebrew release notes
• Don't forget to merge to master
