Prillian has a lot of potential to get us into the « messaging era » but the technical limitations are holding us back.

The shoutbox i.e. should not be separated from main prillian chat

It needs ajaxed. How would shoutbox be a part of a instant messenger though? And would you really want to see shouts while you are instant messaging with someone?

I think I might be missing something here. :-)

Prillian, as I recall, has a global chat mode where you’re talking with everyone at once. But maybe I’m mixing it up with chatspot?

Ill take a look at that asap as well. I planned on doing a test install in the afternoon tomorrow to test the phpBB security install and will look at this as well if you haven't already.
