Final mechanic design + assembling #24

Closed omartinezc closed 3 years ago

We've been improving the mechanical design because we've noticed some issues on our 'Utopia' design.

Jordi has printed-us the new design and tomorrow morning we will proceed with the assembling. The idea is to show some prototype in the tomorrow class.

Also to comment, we changed the idea of having as a 'wristwatch' with the electronics and all te wiring to the glove, to place the electronics in the same 3d structure (housing) but we will stick it on top of the glove, since we have opted for a long glove that covers the first arm stretch

Bugs fixed #1

The holes for passing the nuts of the screws are too small, we believe that the 3D slicer program does not compensate the size of the extruder head and therefore it comes out too small (we're talking about milimeters)

Bugs fixed 2:

After deciding that we would place the wrist case above the glove, we will use the holes of where the wrist strap would pass to screw it to the glove so, we'll update it to make upgrade it's resistance to break

Bugs fixed 3:

We created a functional design and, once assembled, we observed that the serial pin was too short so, we made a new design with a hole to let the serial plug in

Bugs fixed 4:

As the 'bugs fixed 1' our printer isn't good with the size of the holes and was too small. we made some changes to the hole to let the serial wire well pluged

Bugs fixed 5:

After a long week thinking the best way to make the pcb a simpler and more compact pcb, we turn the design around, turning the arduino nano, so we must turn the serial hole, as well as the lid wing.
