What happened?

In the room where you have to do the cog puzzle to drain the water in the fountain, there were 3 zombies, one of the zombies was walking around in the water. when i tried to go to the cog puzzle the game crashed. i reloaded and went back and killed all 3 zombies then exited the room to clear it out then came back and tried to do the cog puzzle and it didn't crash.

I don't suppose it was because the zombies tried to spit on you? If so, I might have fixed that.

Nope the zombie wasn't spitting at me, it seemed like the camera angle change did it, it was at the very same time.
