I was experiencing a crash when attempting to enter the room with In the Y-Alley room where the Square Crank is used (referred to as "Private Backyard" on Evil Resource's map). I thought that door in particular was the only one, but after testing attempting to enter the same room via the alley with the Lighter Oil in the basement ("Business Back Street") I found it was crashing just upon attempting to enter that room at all.
There was a sequence break, having access to the Fire Hose to get to the Pharmacy prior to clearing RPD (the S.T.A.R.S. Key was where the Oil Additive is in the Pharmacy Storeroom). I then cleared RPD, having entered the S.T.A.R.S. Office and triggered Nemesis there, thus causing the other Uptown areas to update to nighttime. I have obtained the Lockpick, but I have not explored any of Downtown yet; I was trying to backtrack to Dario's storage container to get those drops and use the Square Crank before continuing on to the Downtown areas. It should still be possible to continue unless a key item is stashed away in those Dario drops. I wonder if the girl that gets chased back to the alley in front of the Warehouse has anything to do with it.
