If we open-source this project and make this repo public, we should link to it in https://github.com/aspnet/Hosting/issues/924 so that other people who have had this issue can find this project that may help solve their problem.

Seems like a definite open source move to me. Link is a great idea. Can we make it into a NuGet package?
