One use case I would like to use the geoScanner for might be to find rare flowers or trees. It would be nice if you could pass a list of tags to chunkAnalyze or were able to use a configuration file on the server to choose tags other than just forge:ores.
My preference would be not on the server, as it puts the choice in the hands of the cc developer, but I could see arguments for both. Especially if server Admins don't want certain tags available.
