[x] Change "type" to filter by reviews, responses, books received, editorial notes
[x] Remove subject filtering
[x] Consider tagging for Available Books listing to filter down
Original Comment:
"publications" filtering: we think the "type" filtering might not be very useful as it is (Where's Books Received, which we also consider a "type"?). We sort of have reviews, responses, books received, "ed. notes" identified in our archive, and these would be fairly easy to identify (they should be part of the TEI files). Remove Subject (we don't have subjects, and even once we add in tags, it would mean almost 30 years of untagged reviews do not appear at all with this filter. Filters layer strangely--if you click one, it stays open. Author and Reviewer are paragraph text--how will this work with names?
http://dev.interactivemechanics.com/bmcr/index.php/available-books/. We don't know how we'd have subjects for the different books so we should support this for now (but we are interested in this for the future). Presumably the list will be in alphabetical order by author, so this is redundant. How will "new" vs. still available or "again available" (books that were assigned for review but the original reviewer dropped out) be separated? Can tags do this for us? See one of our current lists for context.
