[x] Remove WP logo from header bar
[x] Remove "Media" from + New menu
[x] Remove "Events" from header bar
[x] Switch "Profile" to "Surface Design Association Profile"
[x] When on the site, change the Home icon + Surface Design Association to link to your profile instead of the Dashboard to avoid that error page.

had a little trouble with the last two, but found solutions that accomplish what we want to accomplish. want you to take a look at them before I close this issue.
