Related to #328 and #329
I try to create large ADFs/maps.
However, after pushing the save button and giving it a name, I'm unaware of the status or progress of the ADF creation process: is it still ongoing? did it crash?
After waiting for 4 hours, no map was created and interaction with the app makes it crash.
Suggestion: Could the app show something dynamic, e.g. a turning wheel, to show whether the underlying process is still alive?
