- restarted the delayed_job workers (to pick-up changed code)
- opened the admin panel for contests
- initiated recomputation of the Early Bird and Snowbird
- verified the HC problem with those contests is repaired
The Early Bird https://iaccdb.iac.org/contests/655 and Snowbird https://iaccdb.iac.org/contests/664 both show (HC) in the totals column and (patch) for all competitors. The next contest flown and submitted (the Hammerhead) does not have this problem. Recomputing the contest does not clear the problem. Since these two contests were recomputed after implementation of the new HC system (that keeps the reason), and does not manifest on a newly submitted contest it might be the recomputation that causes the problem. A workaround might be to download the data posts and resubmit them. It's probably not that hard to fix, though.
