Persistent URL for IDS RAM #254

Not really an issue about the infomodel, but something that's related and under our control. This came up in a discussion about https://github.com/International-Data-Spaces-Association/IDS-G with @jlangkau. It would be helpful to have redirects to the IDS-RAM like this:

@sebbader I don't 100% recall how to get this done – edit a fork of the w3id repo (where – rather than using our personal GitHub accounts should we actually create a "master" fork right in this IDSA organization?), then make a PR to the w3id maintainers? And this PR would have to come from you or me, right?

What do you think about this one? https://github.com/sebbader/w3id.org/blob/2d9ee58a6b10187db119b920cff2cc9d4491d9c1/idsa/.htaccess#L65

@clange you also mentioned something else about "shorter URLs". What do you mean with that?

clange commented 4 years ago

Thank you @sebbader for the IDS-G redirect suggested above. For IDS-G that's fine for a start. However in addition I had in mind that the redirect could also use regular expressions with grouping parentheses to get rid of the .md filename extension that some of the IDS-G documents have.

And this issue here was actually about something else: a short URL for the IDS-RAM.

Hello @clange, you are right,I mixed up a few things. Now, as the IDS-G redirects are in place, I just checked related issues and came back to this one here. It's of course possible to add an IDS RAM link, for sure. However, I'd prefer a reference to the IDS-G RAM, and relink the PDF from there:

So, at the moment https://w3id.org/idsa/ids-g/glossary#ids-reference-architecture-model is the Web URI for the RAM as I see it.
