The Information Model of the International Data Spaces implements the IDS reference architecture as an extensible, machine readable and technology independent data model.
I should have known how we defined ids:subRoute and ids:EndToEndRoute but meanwhile forgot and was once more confused:
is the direction of ids:subRoute "has subroute" or "is subroute of"? – It's "has subroute"
is an ids:EndToEndRoute the whole route from, say, a back-office data source through a system adapter app to a smart data app to the data space? (Cf. the common usage of the term "end to end encryption".) Or is it the route between the (outgoing) endpoint of one app to the (incoming) endpoint of the next app? – It's the latter.
As agreed with @HeinrichPet, we should rename to ids:hasSubRoute and ids:RouteStep.
