The Dataspace Protocol is a set of specifications designed to facilitate interoperable data sharing between entities governed by usage control and based on Web technologies. These specifications define the schemas and protocols required for entities to publish data, negotiate Agreements, and access data in a data space
The commercial level of the protocol would work something like:
At least 2 parties do the contract negotiation (an Assigner - A - and an Assignee - B -) over an Offer for at least one asset over at least one action;
Once there has been a conclusion, an Agreement between A and B exists;
Enforcement occurs over this Agreement (not the Offer), it is what feeds the PDP/PEP (either via ODRL or some other protocol);
Are there use cases:
where the asset from A can be supplied by B to C where A needs to track the usage by C?
where the asset from A can be sold by B to a party C where it is supplied via a party D?
is there any use case for the usage of duties (attribution or monetary)?
