Kate says: If all peat dating goes to the layer tab, they'll need to indicate whether they did ABA or not. I have four peat sample submitters that refuse to let us do ABA prior to dating and their groups have produced hundreds of dates, which are sometimes significantly different than the dates produced after ABA (we checked on a subset). This is making it difficult to integrate their LORCA values with other people's.
Solution: Create new layer column "lyr_peat_no_ABA" for peat samples that have NOT undergone ABA. This makes it backwards compatible with the assumption that if the column is empty then sample HAVE been pre-treated with ABA.
