Integrate 5.1 changes into Master Branch #69

V5.1 changes have been implemented along with changes to allow command line applications to be configured using json based files. Various bug fixes are included as well including thread safety issue with N-Dimensional interpolation.

Getting master synced with v2.2.4 changes
