Revision 24-05-2024:

remove of the owl:FunctionalProperty from every object or data property;

I don't know why that decision was made, but it's not fully implemented: there are still 45 FunctionalProperty.

Such information is useful, eg for GraphQL systems that must distinguish scalars (single-valued props) from arrays (multi-valued props).

I support the use of owl:FunctionalProperty and similar. I also wonder why this decision was made.

They will be restored. I guess there was a misunderstanding in the revisions logs, since you can still find 71 FunctionalProperties. A quick search here https://linkedvocabs.org/data/era-ontology/3.1.0/doc/index-en.html can help. What is missing is to double-check with the future Application Guide that some are not missing.
