Fix "reviving" text color in intro cutscene #219

We need some way to draw color 255 as red instead of black; then this code can be removed.

Part of me would rather keep this issue around until we fix the real underlying problem here, even though this hack does fix things. Seems like this is just covering up a bigger issue though.
