As mentioned on the Steam forums. If Tanks had valve controls like Loaders, or similar (E.g. Fill/Unfill/Off/Default), it would enable organisation of reserve supplies without having to manually plumb/un-plumb them with pipes/loaders to achieve the same effect, which is rather clunky.
Also the ability to nominate a Tank material would be good, as this is currently only triggered by plumbing the piping to the correct equipment. This would be fine, except some things are rare e.g. fusion reactors, so it would be nice to fill a Deuterium tank without having to find one. The nominate behaviour could still be overridden by the pipe behaviour.
Finally, crossovers for pipes. The game is something of a 2D routing problem at the moment, which may be intentional but it seems like difficulty for its own sake. A simple
crossover junction of pipes in an otherwise empty space doesn’t seem like an OP feature.
