Blackscreen on save/load

Description

There appears to be a bug sometimes when you load a save it comes up with a big black square over some of your ship - it goes away if you zoom in but comes back as soon as you zoom back out

Is it something that used to work before?

Not sure

Expected behavior

The ship should display correctly, without the box

Actual behavior

A black box appears over the top of the ship
