I've just had this in A9. Purchased an exported ship, the supposedly controlled weapons didn't deploy:

All of those weapons are supposed to be on auto , there are weppos manning all the consoles (pictured), but the guns only deply when a regular crew mans them.
Deleted all the consoles, refitted and reallocated them, then it works. This needs fixing.
Should be fixed in Alpha 10. Old saves with this problem should not have this problem anymore.
Confirmed this looks fixed, I can import ships which needed their guns reallocating before and now they don't.
Description
Weapons consoles aren't activating their weapons. The weapons officers will man the consoles when battle stations is triggered, but the weapons themselves don't deploy except for the one or two that are also being manned by regular crew. This seems to happen on exported ships, i.e. create a new ship in creative mode, export it, then load a saved game and try to import that ship or buy it at a starbase. The error is fixed by clearing out the assigned weapon slots, then reassigning the weapons.
