Description

I started playing The last Starship and thought it was fun. One issue that I had was that I could not go back from where I had started at. I understand that this is not possible to do in survival mode. Do to the plot. But this shouldn't be the case in Free roam. The reasons are that:

  1. I may have missions that I still want to do in that sector.
  2. StarBase's and other ships. I would lose them every time I left a system. Please let me know what you decide. Thanks.

Not sure why you lose ships, if you can just jump them all with your FTL-enabled ship?

What about star-bases that the player owns?

Can’t you nominate them when you jump a fleet?

sillls commented 6 months ago

Wait, are you saying that I can move star-baces to other sectors? How does that work?

I’ve not tried this as I’ve not owned a star base. But when you have multi system emulation in a game, you nominate which ships do or don’t jump with the FTL-enabled ship, then they jump. So in theory I think you could jump your star base along with the fleet.

if you don’t see the options for ‘jump/stay’ against each ship in the fleet, that’s because you’re playing a game type that doesn’t have multi system simulation enabled. You can cheat this at the moment by editing your save game and adding ‘MultiSystemSimulation true’ to the top line. This isn’t a long term option but we’re all testing the game right now…

Thanks
