Redirection error and unemptied cart issue #165

Hi,

I have just installed and configured the Saferpay v1.2.2 module (first installation) on version 1.7.8.11 of Prestashop.

After each order placed using the payment methods (TWINT, Postfinance Pay, Credit/Debit Card), the order is confirmed by Prestashop as well as Saferpay.

But on the other hand, instead of redirecting the customer to the confirmation page, the customer is redirected to their shopping cart (which always contains the products they purchased).

An error message indicates that the payment failed, even though the order and payment confirmation is indeed received.

Is there a known solution?

Hi there @norca1762, Thanks for waiting!

We are currently working on fixing the issue, as it is known to us already.

We plan to release a beta version with a fix this week.

Hi @justelis22, Thank you for your reply.

I hope the next update will also fix another issue I'm currently experiencing.

Indeed, for the last two orders, I received the payment confirmation email from Saferpay (order amount with payment method information) as well as an email from my Prestashop store (order confirmation with items sold).

Unlike other orders, where the order statuses were: First "Awaiting Saferpay payment", then "Payment authorized by Saferpay" and finally "Payment completed by Saferpay"

on those two orders, there was only one order status “Payment authorized by Saferpay”.

The problem is that the order was not complete, the amount of the items on the invoice was less than the total paid by the customer.

I had to go to the customer account and check the items he had put in his cart and then manually add the missing item to his order and generate a new invoice.

Any idea what this could be?

Hi @norca1762, thanks for waiting!

This seems to be a different issue than the one explained in your initial message. however, we will fix the issue with notifications to properly create orders when a payment is completed.

Once that is done, we will be able to see if these two issues are related.

I will keep you updated, if everything goes according to plan, we should release a beta this week.
