i'm not sure if i'm running a "de-bloated" version of Windows or not, and I have no idea how to tell, but for whatever reason the application is showing mapping as successful, no error messages, the controller seems to be emulated properly, but nothing changes in Fortnite. Any help would be appreciated

Try rebooting your PC and trying again.
