Magento Newsletter Mailings should be deactivated if Inxmail should sent Subscription Process Mails [INX-32]

Problem

Currently, Magento will sent DOI Mailings and potentially configured Newsletter-Mailings according to the Newsletter Queue. This might lead to duplicated DOI Process mailings.

Correct behaviour

As Inxmail might be the master of DOI Process (and definitely Master for Newsletter-Mailings), it must be possible to deactivate corresponding Mail-Sendings from Magento.

User Story

As an Administrator I want to disable the Newsletter Subscription Mailings sent by the default Magento Newsletter Module, as the subscription process and corresponding mailings should be configured in Inxmail Professional.

Workaround

Can the newsletter sending mechanism be deactivated without code changes by deactivating corresponding cron-jobs? The tool "AOE_Schedular" could be useful to achieve this.

Acceptance Criteria

• In the Inxmail Menu "Inxmail" -> "Configuration" -> "General" the entry "General" should contain a further entry as depicted in the following screenshot:

• The texts in the following file need to be used instead of the ones displayed in the screenshot Magento_3.3.0.0_UI_Texte_Übersetzungen_EN_FR_done.xlsx
  • Point 4: The configuration should only be Global and cannot be changed by scope.
• As the default behaviour of Magento is to be the master of the subscription process, the option "Magento" shall be preselected.
• When option "Inxmail Professional" is selected, than the magento shop should not sent any DOI process mails. The system shall behave as depicted in the following annotated screenshot (System -> Configuration -> Customer -> Newsletter):

• Other mails (like Order Confirmation, Account Registration or similar) should still be sent as usual from Magento.
• If the option "Magento" is selected, than the magento shop should sent the newsletter subscription mails as configured in Magento
• If the module is "active", than the Magento Newsletter-Queue shall be deactivated as well (Newsletter -> Newsletter Queue)
• If the module is "disabled", than Magento's configuration is the master and any configured subscription process mails shall be sent. Further, the Magento Newsletter-Queue shall be active as well, therefore sending any configured Newsletters.

I found one issue:

If a user registers to the shop and subscribes to the newsletter directly, than he receives a subscription confirmation from magento, although the Op-In System is "Inxmail":

wir haben das Problem hier behoben. Möchtest du ein neues Package? Und was ist mit den anderen Tasks welche Version 3.3.0.0 betreffen (alle noch onHold)? Ebenso dieser Task ist gelöst: https://github.com/Inxmail/inx_magento1/issues/39#issuecomment-216829193

Hi Björn,

ja, bitte schicke mir ein neues Package. Und wenn Ihr dabei schon seid: Räumt bitte github so auf dass vom aktuellen Stand jeweils einfach ein Package erstellt werden kann und sagt mir wie ich dann ein Package daraus erstellen kann.

Für 3.3.0.0 waren erstmal keine anderen Tasks geplant, passt also soweit.

Das Problem besteht nicht mehr, aber es ist ein neues aufgetreten:

Wenn das Modul "deaktiviert" ist und die Einstellung des DOI Prozesses "Inxmail Professional" gesetzt ist, dann werden die OPT-IN Einstellungen von Magento nicht berücksichtigt und keine OPT In Mail aus Magento geschickt. Die Anforderung war, dass wenn das Modul deaktiviert ist, dann sollte die Magento Funktionalität aktiv sein (wie konfiguriert). Dass müsst Ihr leider nochmal nachbessern.

das wurde korrigiert. Neues Package brauchste oder sollen wir es einfach in den Master mergen nach deinem Test?
