This is just:

a cardboard box or tube
the top portion of a lightbulb (needs to be a specific type of opaque plastic)
the iphone + app
an HDMI plug
an HDMI projector, ideally this Kodak projector

Get a low budget portable assembly done.

This is done. The solution was a cardboard poster tube, with the plastic end cap cut out and made to fit the lightbulb cap that I have. Literally this was just a utility knife cutting exercise. The projector kind of squeezes in.

So what should be done here is write this up in terms of measurements and instructions for anyone who wants to build one of these.
